PokeValue ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PokeValue website (pokevalue.eu), mobile application, and browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

- Account information: Email address, name, and profile picture when you sign up or log in via Google, Apple, or Facebook.
- Collection data: Information about the trading cards you scan, add, or track in your collection.
- Photos: Card images you capture using the scanner feature, used solely for card identification.
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics about how you interact with the app to help us improve the service.
- Listing content (browser extension): When you open a product page on a supported marketplace (currently Tradera.com), the extension reads the listing's title and description to identify the Pokémon card and fetch its market price. This content is sent to our API in-transit for the lookup and is not stored.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services
- To identify trading cards from scanned images
- To display market pricing and analytics for your collection
- To authenticate your account and keep it secure
- To communicate service updates or respond to support requests
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. Card images are processed for identification and may be stored temporarily for caching purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
The browser extension stores your authentication session locally in Chrome's extension storage. It is used only to authenticate requests to our API and is cleared when you sign out.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
- Google, Apple, Facebook: OAuth sign-in providers
- Stripe: Payment processing for premium subscriptions
- Vercel: Website hosting
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.
