How is the Méga-Aligatueur ex #036/89 MEP Black Star Promos price determined?

Accepted Answer

Every price you see in PokeValue comes from live listings on CardMarket — the largest trading-card marketplace in Europe. For Méga-Aligatueur ex #036/89 we pull all the currently active listings and break them down by condition, so you get a separate price for each of the seven grades: Poor, Played, Light Played, Good, Excellent, Near Mint and Mint. Listings are filtered to English copies only and to the exact variant — regular cards never include reverse-holo or 1st-edition listings, and vice versa. Prices refresh regularly, so the values you see reflect the current European market.

Question 3

Why does the price of Méga-Aligatueur ex #036/89 MEP Black Star Promos vary so much by condition?

Accepted Answer

Condition is the single biggest driver of value on a Pokémon card. Edge whitening, surface scratches, bends and centering issues each step the price down. A Near Mint Méga-Aligatueur ex MEP Black Star Promos can be worth 2–3× a Good copy, and a graded PSA 10 can be worth several times an ungraded Near Mint. PokeValue prices each condition separately so you know exactly what your copy is worth.
